   this app only for Chinaese users ，because this app is for Asia region， this US number +1 was not work on America， and you need Chinese number +86， You must go through private document authentication, that is, a document that can prove your identity, to use this software normally, otherwise, you buy something, you don't know who this person is, then the risk of the transaction skyrockets.

2. 1/5Don’t walk, run from this app

   The people that use this app are untrustworthy and liars. I’ve purchased products that weren’t as advertised then returned the product and the seller refuse to issue my refund and then blocked me probably three times now. I’ve had six transaction went something like this. The seller stated the product was almost brand new, I received the product and it was heavily scratched or broken, I took photos and posted them to the seller, return the watch with a tracking number, the seller took photos of the object and said they cleaned it, I told them that I no longer live at the previous address and you can’t clean scratches so I didn’t want to object. Even with all that proof in our chats, I was still unable to receive a refund when contacting customer support. I’ve bought 20 things with this app and been lied to or mislead about the condition of the product 20 times. I’ve never once received a product that was as described. So the community is pretty much untrustworthy. The app crashes constantly. And the technical support is nonexistent. The technical support will argue with you over things that don’t actually matter and are actually related to the final outcome. Like once I moved and didn’t have the same address so customer support wanted to know why I moved. That has nothing to do with when I originally bought the watch it was damaged. I sent the watch back before I moved. It’s just not related yet customer support thinks that’s a reason for me to not receive my refund. But I moved a month and a half after I had already mailed the watch back how does that change anything. They don’t resolve any issue. So I am giving you my best advice, never use this app.

3. 1/5Garbage platform that will never protect user from scammers.

   Never use again. Very disappointing experience. I reported a seller for scamming and submitted multiple pieces of evidence, including detailed chat records, but Xianyu still claimed that there was “insufficient evidence” and refused to take meaningful action. It is extremely frustrating to see a platform demand evidence from victims, then ignore the evidence provided while allowing suspicious sellers to continue using the platform with little consequence. This kind of handling does not make users feel protected. Instead, it feels like scammers are being protected more than the people who report them. A marketplace should take fraud reports seriously and have a fair, transparent appeal process. Based on my experience, Xianyu has failed to provide adequate protection for buyers.

4. 1/5Overly collect personal data, ban user for no reason, and rude customer service

   I have the app for months before my first attempt to purchase. The first time I ask information about a sofa, I was banned for no reason and I need to provide my personal ID or passport to unlock the account. I canceled the account and try again to purchase a shelf, they banned me after I paid for it. Once I am banned, I cannot see the shipping info of my purchase, I cannot email see my id The customer service is not too helpful keep asking for an user Id I cannot see. And the ban is permanent unless I give out my personal ID or passport number with a photo of my ID and Passport. I finally gave in so that I can see the shipment. The follow up phone call from the customer service really tipped off my nerves. She said my account was banned because my account was at risk, but she failed to provide info about the risk they are talking about. I only see my personal information is at risk with these kind of people handling my personal data. USE THE APP ONLY THIS IS THE ONLY LAST RESOURCE !!!!

5. 1/5Unsafe app with poor buyer protection

   This app has too many dishonest sellers and scam-like transactions. Buyers can easily lose money because the platform does not provide enough supervision, seller verification, or effective protection. When a seller lies about a product, refuses to refund, or blocks the buyer, the platform does not take strong enough action to protect the buyer’s rights. In my experience, the app failed to provide a safe and trustworthy marketplace. Customer support and dispute handling are not effective enough, and buyers are left with little protection after being cheated. I do not recommend using this app until the platform improves its seller management, refund process, and buyer protection system.
