   I love taking time lapse videos, and I like the fact this app has got a couple extra features that my Apple iPhone does not. But what made me give it a 2 star review….. is if anything happens during the recording of your time lapse video it stops it. I even put it on airplane mode to help prevent it from shutting off… but maybe an alarm will go off. Or I have noticed sometimes it just shuts off for no reason…. Which is like the worst thing to do five minutes into recording an hour long time lapse. You already are sacrificing your phone service with data & Wi-Fi off. It’s ok though… you walk away feeling great about the results you’re about to capture, but no…. Frustrating as it can get. You could of gotten the shot of your lifetime but little do you know as you’re walking away it already shut off. Fun fact: what makes this poor review even worse…. I have only wrote good reviews. 😑

   This gimbal offers decent value for its price, but unfortunately, the accompanying app falls short, particularly in its auto-tracking capabilities. Despite the presence of ample lighting, the face tracking feature consistently fails to recognize and maintain focus on the subject. For instance, when I attempt to use the object tracking mode for my dog, the gimbal initially locks onto him. However, the moment he moves, he completely loses track and shifts focus to nearby distractions, such as a dog bed or even a tree on the periphery. On one occasion, the gimbal bizarrely prioritized a ceramic lion's face over a real human face, which highlights its shortcomings in recognizing the intended subjects. It’s frustrating that many manufacturers don’t seek or allow active user feedback. For comparison, Roku security cameras have implemented a feature that enables users to review auto-tracked videos—be it of animals, vehicles, humans, or packages—and provide feedback on whether the tracking functioned correctly. Such user input could significantly enhance their artificial intelligence and auto-tracking performance, making it disheartening that similar mechanisms are not in place here.

3. 2/5So Buggy!

   The app and the gimbal are buggy. sometimes it’ll just turn off with no reason. i check the charge on the gimbal and it’s 3 bars out of 4 bars battery. the app won’t crash but the AI bugs out. my footage is tilted from a gym workout i tested it on. i do better without using the AI features in the factory camera phone app. i can’t use the auto follow but it beats losing footage i wanted while not paying attention but attention to exercises. what if i was interviewing and 100% into what person was saying then my footage dies? embarrassing! frustrating! i’d hate to be that person. for the money i spent i expect high quality. Edit: gimbal now just keeps turning itself off after a minute. battery says it’s at three bars exactly. how am i supposed to do a hands free live feed? i’m gonna return this.

4. 2/5Not super happy with the gimbal or app

   So far, this gimble seems to have a mind of it’s own spinning and flopping around like a fish whenever I’m in the heat of a good shot or discussion. It’s very distracting, maybe good to learn for someone who has money to waste otherwise it’s just a waste of money. Two stars because I love getting smooth shots when I do. It also cannot stay connected for the remaining 20% of battery life that was available after 3 hours of filming (not consecutively), at this point I need to speak with custom service and make sure the thing isn’t broken. If they don’t provide me with a gimble that functions properly, I’ll be buying a new one and throwing this one away.

5. 5/5Stability and Performance of the Mobile Device

   This device was the star at an event where I had to record interviews and videos. I also purchased wireless microphone accessories and a tripod. The stabilizer worked perfectly, ensuring smooth and professional footage. However, I encountered one issue: the recording would stop whenever someone used their hands to gesture while speaking. The app is highly sensitive to hand movements and interprets them as commands to start or stop recording. This sensitivity can be a bit of a hindrance in dynamic environments where people use expressive hand gestures.
