  1. 4/5Good but missing IOS integrations

Works great at controlling my Anker desktop charger (Prime USB-C charging station). However everything has to be done in the app, and I can’t make common things more accessible via HomeKit, widgets, or even Apple Shortcuts. Specifically, I have two USB-A devices plugged in (WiFi HDMI adapters for my extra monitors) that I need to be able to power on and off, because while they have power they emit the “connect instructions screens” which in turn keeps my high-power-consumption monitors from going to sleep. In the app, this involves starting the app, selecting my device, scrolling down to the port power controls, swiping over to the usb-a ports, pressing the power button, then pressing a confirmation button to actually turn it off. It would be ideal if these could be exposed as “plugs” in HomeKit, but barring that the ability to set up a dashboard widget to toggle it, or a Shortcut, would make my life much easier!

  2. 3/5Great products, but the app is not perfect

I have the F3800 and C1000, and like the app for the monitoring. My problem with the app is, it logs me out of my account every week or two. Now I work in IT, I get security. My password is written down, but for some reason Anker thinks it’s incorrect (three times now). So now I have to press “forgot password” every time it logs me out. Driving me NUTS! The other is a feature request, but the reason this is another star loss is that I tried requesting the feature on the Anker website and gave feedback. But the fully automated bots answering support think every message is a trouble call, not a request or idea. So I am not loving “support” and dread I may need it and not get a person some day. So I will leave my request here. Request is: LFP batteries don’t love to be stored for a while at 100%, that is a fact. I know it’s not going to break it, but why can’t we set a charge limit of 50%, or 80%? That way I don’t have to watch the charge status closely to get it to 50% for long storage, or 80% for “I don’t need it yet, but I could soon”. My F3800 is for emergency power, so it gets stored most of it’s life. When I go past 80% accidentally, now I have to connect the TV or Fridge to get it down where I want it. Should be easy-ish to add and could extend our investment.

  3. 1/5It doesn’t do anything useful other than being a remote interface

UPDATE: updated to 3.4.2 and now my Bluetooth keeps going offline too. I have to reset the button on the unit before I can use the app. This is not so easy for me as the display is not so easily accessed in my setup (this why I need the Bluetooth). Sometimes it works and sometimes it requires a reset. No improved optimisation. ——-REVIEW OF APP, NOT UNIT. I don’t understand why this app has good reviews? It doesn’t do anything useful, other than a timer to delay a section shutoff. I cannot delay to start a power section? It does not save any history data for usage, temperature, battery cycles, or anything. The usage graphs are useless as they only show a few seconds. There have been no feature updates in a year, yet the units are still selling new. Why is this app so bad? These features are not difficult to program into apps. I expected more from a company like Anker. I like my 767/F2000, with the only glitch so far being the USB-A ports going offline requiring to physically replug them in. Thus I don’t use them. My brand loyalty is wavering as customer experience seems to not be important. This app is very disappointing!

  4. 5/5Great Portable Backup

We did a LOT of research before purchasing this product. It seemed to be the most bang for the buck, and we took advantage of a Prime Day sale to get it, and the 400W solar panel. We live in the countryside, and though not “off-grid”, we do lose power from time to time, though usually only for 1-4 hours. The last time our car was trapped in the garage and we needed to leave. This unit will allow us to power the garage doors, as well as small critical loads in an outage, like our refrigerators and freezer for short periods. For longer periods we have a gas/propane generator. We plan to upgrade the later to the Anker F3800 in the future, with dedicated solar panels. Very pleased with the build quality, features and silence of the F2000. We’re pleased to have an alternative backup system for outages and something that can run our truck camper when boondocking away from shore-power.

  5. 4/5My favorite power bank and brand

I love this thing. I wish it was smaller, but still packs a lot of power into the form factor. I can charge a DJI Mini 4 Pro drone battery on it from dead (20%) to full a couple time so that’s good enough for me. I went camping for 8 days 7 nights and each night I would watch movies and play games, during the day I would use my phone as a navigator and attach it to my mini bikes and go kart so it was in mostly constant use and this bank kept it charged the whole trip.l, I kept checking the power bank like, “I wonder if it’s going to have enough juice for the rest of the trip.” But no need, I don’t worry about it now. I’ve had it for almost a year now or maybe a little more. Definitely my favorite power bank and I have a few from different brands like Belkin and some other Anker banks. This one is the best.
