  1. 1/5Doesn't work for fast charging

I got this to see how much faster fast charging really is. Doesn't work: iPhone charger - 814 iPad charger - 1629 Every single fast charger I tried - 1222 Yes, I'm using the Apple cable and yes, I'm getting a double chime when plugging them in. In fact one of my fast chargers is bogus and I only get one chime when plugging it in. Turns out it's only 3A. That one gets a score of 1222 as well. Even my wall socket USB ports get an exact score of 1222. The official Apple 67W adapter got a score of 977. Good to know the 1A iPhone charger and the fast charging 67W adapter are basically the same. Oh and, all these numbers came from my iPhone X being in the 50% range. This app is garbage! Response to developer: According to an actual watt meter your numbers are still garbage. Review stays at 1 star. "I would love to get more accurate results myself, BUT its not available via the iOS at this moment. Apple locked access to this data since iOS 10." Thanks for admitting the app gives less than accurate results. A competitor app? Ha! Whatever gets you to sleep at night bud. I'm just calling out the fact this app is not accurate at all as you even stated yourself. Also there is a more accurate way as I clearly stated earlier with an actual watt meter. Of which I used to bust the reliability of this app. Keep it up man, I can go on forever. And to add to all this, I got some bogus 8000+ reading on my USB wall outlet last night which maxes out at 2.4A. Perfect timing as I was showing a buddy of mine how this app doesn't work.

  2. 5/5Great support from developer

Edit: all issues were addressed. ———— Please add a conformation step before clearing results data. Very easy to accidentally delete all one's measurements otherwise. Also being able to edit the test configuration info after a test is run would be very helpful. Also where test results are displayed (at least on an iPhone X) the fields with the Name and Charge get cut off with no way to later see what was typed originally. Finally, there should be a note to users that the charging rate, or score, varies greatly with how full the battery is. Perhaps recommending all tests be done under 50% would be better than the 90% required now.

  3. 5/5Great Tool!

What an outstanding app. I have multiple cables and charging devices and this let me determine which configurations were best and just as importantly, which were worst at charging my iPad Pro. Since I travel a lot I was pleasantly surprised to determine a thin cable charged just as quickly as a thick, bulky cable. On the other hand, I was disappointed to find out my Qualcomm 3.0 Quick Charger didn’t charge as fast as my NewerTech NuPower 60W adapter (fortunately the NuPower has 2 outputs so I can charge both my MacBook and iPad at the same time)

  4. 5/5The Best battery charging info app

At least this is the best battery charging info app that I have found. The programmer of this application constantly updates his product, and each version is greatly improved over the last version. If you wish to see what combination of charge and lightning connector works best, I believe this app is the one you are looking for. It was worth the $2.00 I spent quite a while ago, and the app is much improved.

  5. 1/5Never does anything

Click Start test and it just says “Starting” leave it there for 20 minutes never does anything. Tried multiple times, reinstalling app, restarting phone, everything I could think of to get it to work and different chargers too. Wireless and wired.. it’s always been this way even when I bought the app over two years ago when I had iPhone 11 Pro Max IR but I came back to try it again and still never does anything just “starting” .. This time with my iPhone 13 latest iOS 17 ..At least the free app worked sometimes if u let an ad run
