1. 4/5The app gives one free song so make it count

   My song lyrics sound beautiful with the voice it chose but I do wish I could hear voice samples and choose the voice myself. What if I didn’t like the voice chosen? There was a minor typo in my free sample I wish I could correct. Only really taking one star off because the app is free to download but it’s strictly subscription based with a singular sample. Just make the app cost a little money to download and give “lite” features like other apps do. No need to trick people into downloading as “free” than cost money to do anything at all.

2. 2/5Started great, but now constant problems

   I’ve enjoyed using the Donna app for quite a few months. I bought a whole year and after getting quite a few songs inputted that I wrote, and with the Donna help turned out beautifully the Donna started to act up choosing the wrong voice female over male the wrong genre sometimes the words were not even legible. I have been unable to resolve this issue through emails or technical support which is nonexistent. But here I have a year subscription for an app that does not function. Sometimes it even makes songs completely without lyrics. I’m only allowed so many songs a year and each time it fails I lose one of my songs. Plus it no longer create, the added song as an option by their app from my lyrics. I have also experienced piracy where my songs have been claimed outside of the United States on media platforms, claiming shared ad revenue of the owner of the song. When I clearly have paid for an own with documentation from this app the song. Very disappointed I wish there was a way to fix the app so that it would function properly again…. But I can’t delete the app or I’ll lose all my music that I have created other than copies. I have downloaded to my phone with the certificate of ownership 🤔😔

3. 5/5App has great potential if bugs are addressed and expression isn’t repressed.

   Good potential but too buggy with errors and duplicate output. I emailed support about the errors and duplicate outputs and am waiting to see how quickly I get a response. Also, since music is art and a form of expression I am glad that the TOS doesn’t censor explicit lyrics, content or ideas. The entire woke, cancel culture movement is dangerously inhibiting freedom of expression and forcing an underground swell of repressed hatred and anger that is better expressed creatively than violently. Furthermore, such expression allows us to dialogue and learn about each other’s feelings and experiences that have shaped such sentiments. I am hopeful that the errors are not just another woke form of censorship because sweeping the dark and unpopular thoughts and feelings under the rug is not the solution.

   I absolutely hate this app!!!!! you’re probably wondering why do I hate this so much? I only gave this five stars so people would read this. so in the first box, it says lyrics but inside of the box, it says right lyrics or prompt so I wrote my prompt and then I filled in all the other boxes. But when my song was made, this was my prompt : mom and daughter get split up when daughter is 12. And my song was.: mom and daughter get split up when daughter is 12 but in singing formation. it literally said in the box that I can make a prompt and that’s what I did so, if you are one of the developers of this game, please write back to me. I would love to hear how I can make it better or how y’all can make it better, thank you and have a nice day…

5. 2/5What happened to this wonderful app?

   I am a music teacher in NYC. When this app first came out, I used it with many of my classes to write jingles and develop different covers of my Rules Blues song in different styles. I paid for a year subscription - in the past month the output has been garbled and I just downloaded the new version, which cut a lot of the things I liked about the old version, and it has not been able to produce one song - I keep getting a message that there was a problem and my money would be refunded. In addition, I paid for a year subscription with the old app, and had to pay again for a year subscription with the new app - I should be refunded my money for at least one of them. Things I miss - the styles option menu and the mood options menu and the studio vs. live option. This new version is definitely a downgrade. So when can I expect a refund for either this new subscription or my old subscription from the previous version of Donna that I paid an annual fee for, but no longer works?
