   I loose my remote so often it's lol embarrassing. When I was told I can getups one from the App Store, I immediately nmdownloaded. It's so easy, it just has to connect to your fire tv - takes 2 seconds. The search option is so much easier because I can text or use voice instead of the abc in the square I know we all hate - and I can never get speech recognition to work with the regular remote for some reason. I can control volume, channel, pause, rewind, fast forward. My only complaint which I'm not sure if it's with the fire app or the TV in general because my actual remote has now been lost for months, but if I get a call, or have to switch laundry. I hit pause. It will only pause for so long.... and it's not very long at all. Then I get back. The TV is off and the show I'm watching isn't just right there.... sometimes it's not on my most recent? I don't get it - I begrudgingly admit I don't always remember the exact name of a show, if it's a documentary or special. But like I said I'm not sure if that's the app or not. Either way firetv should fix it!!! Oh! One more thing!! Multiple people can have the app and connect. Yes I've messed with my friends before... but it's convenient if you're eating or fall asleep, you can come in and take over the TV. Ok, I think I wrote enough, I was feeling bad because it kept asking and I'd say "later" so I finally just did it. But yeah download it if you have a fire Tav

2. 5/5Easy fix

   I usually don’t do reviews but here it goes... this app has always worked great for me especially since I have lost the physical remote. But recently for about a week or so when I attempted to watch anything the app would not let go up,down,left or right I could however click on the setting button and it would immediately take me to settings but again I could not go up,down,left or right and when I clicked the home button it immediately went to the home button but I still couldn’t move around. I came on here in the reviews to see if anyone was having this issue I had attempted to unplug and re-plug the fire stick and I was still have the same issue. Today I decided to contact support through the app and selected call me, so I immediately got a call waited less than 1 minute and they actually helped me. She was able to take control of my screen and see what I was talking about she had me troubleshoot by reinstalling this app on my phone than unplugging the fire stick from my tv wait 2-3 minutes than plug it back in and to my surprise it WORKED i guess waiting before replugging helped because I had unplugged the fire stick before but not that long just like a couple seconds so yeah hope someone can find this helpful.

3. 4/5Good but ,bad at the same time

   I like this app because fire stick TV remote to die right away and it’s really hard to find them. And it’s a really really really really good app, but every single time I want to press something I end up pressing a different thing. like if I want to rewind or something like that I always end up pressing the wrong button for example the home button I hate hate hate hate hate hate the home button.I barely even press it but I’m always pressing it and that is a make any sense,but every single time I try and press something else and a present home button and I don’t like that. I’m Nother thing I don’t like about it is that if I am watching something or something cuts on automatically and I want to change it my fire stick won’t be connected to my phone fire stick thing and I try everything to get it to work but it never works ,so I end up having to wait the next day or a couple days after that to fix the TV I mean that’s too long I shouldn’t have to wait that long to fix my TV . Sometimes even the next day will won’t be working the next day I will be working.I’m not saying the app is bad it’s really good but sometimes it just doesn’t work. I don’t understand why it won’t connect, but sometimes I am able to fix it by re-connecting my Wi-Fi and then reconnect in the fire stick. I’m I shouldn’t have to do all of that just get my TV to work. It’s a good app I would recommend it but just know that you will be having some problems with it without your experience having it. All I Gotta say is give us a better update

4. 2/5Only had it for a week so far and lots of problems :(

   I just got the app a couple of days ago and since the first day I’ve been having problems with it. The first problem is that my tv only shows up half the time as an option to connect to (it shows all of the other tvs in my house but often not mine). I only downloaded the app because I’ve tried two different remotes and haven’t been able to connect them to my tv so I thought I’d try the app. The next problem I have with it is it that it is often laggy; I’ll press a button and it takes anywhere from 5-30 seconds before it actually responds. And after the app has been connected to my tv for a while it makes me reconnect which bring me to the problem of my tv not showing up as an option. The last and biggest problem I’ve had is that in the past week of using the app, there have been 3 times where I press the up volume button once and it glitches, brings the volume all the way up to 100 (I normally keep it on 7 because it gets VERY loud) and then it logs me out and won’t show my tv , leaving me to rush to turn off my tv and restart it so I can turn the volume down. Not to happy so far with the app but unfortunately my tv won’t connect a normal remote so it’s my only option at the moment. I would also like to add that it would be appreciated if they would fix it to have a “favorite” or “main tv” option so that you can keep the app automatically connected to the tv you use it for instead of having to connect it multiple times throughout the hour or so that you are using it :)

5. 1/5barley works after 6 months

   I have been using this app for about six months now after traveling with my fire stick and leave my remote behind. When I first started using the app it worked flawlessly. I would open it it will connect to my fire stick almost immediately and not have any connection issues while trying to navigate. Over the last few months the technical issues I experience with this app have increased. I update my app I update my fire stick even my phone and I still experience technical difficulties. it is now almost impossible for me to connect to my fire stick without me having to unplug my fire stick wait for two minutes uninstall the app and reinstall the app and then plug my fire stick and for my app to connect to my fire stick. I have to go through this about 4 to 5 times a day just for me to use my fire stick. if I do not do the steps when I open the app it shows my fire stick with the cloud symbol I click on the name of my fire stick it says connecting and then it says cannot connect in red I will attempt this 2 to 3 times and then my fire stick name will vanish from the listing on the app. it is very irritating to have to go through all the steps every day multiple times a day just to rewind all my shows or to scroll on the home screen to check the connection on the fire stick. both my phone and the fire stick have always been on the same Wi-Fi. it is also pretty sad to see so many reviews over long periods of time telling the developers that THIS DOES NOT CONNECT AND ITS HASN'T BEEN FIXED.
