   Hi, I am updating my review. Amaziograph is one of my favorite apps on the iPad! It has always been a five-star app. I have one feature suggestion for the developers to consider. — The templates when choosing your type of tessellation are a little unintuitive. I am talking about the templates such as parallel, kaleidoscope, Mirror, and other iterations. Yes, it is great to have all these options; however, some options are not listed among these suggested layouts, and the wording is confusing and non-visual. My suggestion is that you have a “custom” option. —Select one of the three base shapes; square, triangle, and hexagon. Once inside the design, choose which edges “Mirror, Reverse, have symmetry, etc.” The benefit is that we begin to understand how we are composing our designs while exploring all the available options. I often have an instinct about which shapes and formats will work with a particular tessellation, but I find myself cycling through the layouts a little blindly. In contrast, when I compose a tessellation by hand, I understand how it works—no reason to be complicated about this. I would also like to offer my artwork if you need it to promote this app.

2. 5/5Love this app just wish..

   I LOVE this app. It is one of my best app purchases I ever made. I make seamless fabric patterns with this and it has been great. I just wish there was a eye dropper tool I could use to sample colors from my imports. Sometimes, I have to take my designs into adobe apps to make higher resolution than what is allowed, or to vectorize, and that is ok-Also, I cannot draw super fine details in this app. BUT there are tons of uses for this it and patterns I can make that I would be able to use directly without another party IF i could have an easier time managing specific colors with it without so much fuss. Thank you for making this great app. I cannot find a better tiling app than this. Procreate makes it so difficult to create seamless tiles that even though I purchased the app, I rarely use it.

3. 5/5A truly amazing drawing app!

   This app can obviously be a lot of fun for people without drawing skills, but it is also powerful enough for serious artists to use. In my original review, I mentioned a few issues I had with this app in the beginning; but most of them were the result of my lack of experience. Now, three years later, I can’t say enough good things about this amazing little drawing app. I upgraded my iPad mini to an iPad Pro just to use this app on a larger screen with the Apple Pencil. Anyone looking for a low-cost drawing app should get this app immediately. I’ve tried many alternatives, some of which cost a lot more and have more features, but none of them really compare to Amaziograph. The ability to export drawings in Photoshop format is the icing on the cake. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.

4. 5/5App totally LOST three designs I spent hours creating..

   Hello, I used to love this app very much but when it completely took away my designs I put it aside. They did not happen in a row but over 2 months. I kept up with updates etc. I did nothing different than usual and poof they were gone. Not in camera roll, iCloud, or anywhere. I was (am) so disappointed as all THREE were masterpieces in my eyes and collectively I worked over 10 hours or more completing the design. Final straw, third design vanishing. Another issue that is causing me to give up again on this app is the shape recognition tool. It only works WHEN IT WANTS! I can make a circle nothing happens,. No matter what I’m do it only randomly works and when it does it is in a screwed up location I dont want it. I will be very hard pressed to recommend this app to a friend as I would quickly become an enemy. Hope you guys can fix this. I have reloaded the app after uninstalling still NO HELP. Black to Procreate and affinity designer which saddens me big time as this app has such promise. Sincerely, a very frustrated and disappointed user.

5. 5/5Beats procreate and sketchbook mobile

   I draw digital mandalas, mostly in black and white, under the name albaviardaviviak. So far this is the best program I've used that meets all my needs. It includes layers, both rotational and mirror symmetry, and the ability to choose the number of segments. The automatic line smoothing, intuitive pen and eraser tools other menu icons had me up and running in minutes. I can’t believe I just discovered this program after drawing digital mandalas for over 7 years. Also the price insanely low. Kudos to the developers. Thank you.
