Alpin Quest PRO – Outdoor GPS [8.0.10+2] New live coordinate panel: a small bar at the bottom-left of the map shows the MGRS and WGS84 of the point under the center crosshair, updating instantly as you pan and zoom. Projection mode now also displays WGS84 and ED50 coordinates alongside MGRS and DMS. Various stability improvements.

NEW FEATURES • Custom folder fields: Define your own form fields on a folder (text, number, date, yes/no, list). They appear automatically when adding a target, show in the details, and export as columns to SHP/CSV. • GIS UTM (Geology) export: Shapefile + CSV with UTM coordinates; ID/Zone/X/Y/Z + custom fields. In this release too, we've brought many new features and improvements shaped by you. Elevation & Terrain The terrain elevation of the point you look at/tap on the map now appears instantly. Thanks to prefetching + caching, there's no waiting; an area once viewed works offline too. A single, consistent elevation source for targets, the map center and slope. Map Loading & Layers Load KMZ (raster + vector), GeoPDF and GeoPackage (.gpkg) files. Colored stands + compartment labels for KMZ vectors; UTM/projection support for GeoPackage. Opacity control and a "show on map" button for all layers. GPX layers: multi-track import, on-map drawing, show/hide/delete management. Offline maps: white-tile issue fixed, z12–17 download, visibility of downloaded areas. Targets Connect two targets with a line by selecting them on the map. Add photos, audio and video to targets (pick / play / record). Custom fields and folder management for targets. More prominent target info, collapsible target chain. Per-target proximity alert. Sharing/export via Shapefile (.shp) and GIS UTM. With files containing tens of thousands of targets, the new area loads instantly when you pan the map. Measurement & Drawing Draw a slope route: the slope angle and elevations of each segment along the line; save it as a route if you wish. Two-point measurement (ruler): measure distance on the map. Slope and measurement routes can now be edited without data loss (edit / finish / save). Square, legible line labels; for slope, distance + degree, and they no longer grow when you zoom out. Area drawing: draggable corners, freehand finger drawing, tap to show/delete. Color and width selection when drawing a route. Location, GPS & Tools GPS robustness: alert when location is off/permission denied, refresh button, fast first fix, fallback to last known location. We've made AlpinQuest more powerful and reliable in the field — a comprehensive update focused on 3D terrain, offline use and precise coordinate systems. 3D Terrain Map The 3D terrain map can now be selected as a map layer. All your data in 3D: targets, routes, measurement routes, areas and track recordings. Tap targets/routes to view their details, long-press to add a target. Draw a route on the 3D map. Live track recording in 3D, in real time. When a mission starts, the map rotates like a compass, focuses on the start point, with a live character at your location. Pitch (tilt) control, center crosshair + bottom data panel (elevation/speed). Download the 3D map offline — download the visible area, manage downloaded regions. New Coordinate System India DSM (WGS 84 / India NSF LCC) support — in the position readout, map bar, coordinate search and target info cards. Works fully on-device. Reliability & Offline Connection-aware offline maps — tiles are fetched when online, downloaded tiles appear instantly when offline. Track recovery — if the app closes during recording, the unfinished track is detected on reopen. 2D Map & iOS The compass screen was redesigned; live character at your location during a mission, "end target" badge.

Dear users, Based on your feedback, this release brings important fixes and new features. Fixes The map now opens even when location is turned off; your downloaded offline maps display without any problems. Fixed an issue where targets could disappear in files containing a large number of targets. The map's first load is noticeably faster and tab switching is smoother. What's New Circle drawing: press and drag on the map to create a circle at any radius, give it a name and color, then move or edit it later. Precise point placement with a button: you can place target, route and measurement points exactly on the crosshair. Mil support in measurements, along with back azimuth information. Live distance, azimuth and back azimuth to the point you are looking at on the map. Target elevation is now shown in both meters and feet. One-tap access to the offline map download screen directly from the map. Large text option for menus, plus more readable text colors. Bulk actions on targets by selecting folders.
