1. 5/5Only amiibo writing app you will need

   Normally I never leave reviews on the App Store, but I wanted to make one for this app. Ally is the best amiibo writing app I have used and it is worth every penny. The app is simple to use and understand, and works flawlessly in writing/scanning amiibos. It’s also updated to support the newest amiibos when they come out. It’s also very affordable, a one time payment of $4.99. I have an iPhone 7 Plus, and this app does work on my phone despite the weak NFC chip. The developer is also extremely helpful and responsive, I contacted him on Twitter and he answered all my questions and gave me tips on how to write the tags. I use NFC 215 tags and so far the app has been able to scan/write all of the ones I have used. I seriously cannot recommend this app enough, if you’re on the fence about buying I highly recommend you give this app a chance.

2. 5/5App Works As Desired

   Original Review: Have used the app a bunch in the past without issue, but it seems something has broken recently (I think with iOS 18+, probably an NFC API change) and now when attempting to write a tag, my iPhone activates Apple Pay / Wallet and I cannot write tags anymore. Otherwise app has worked great. Update: Developer responded and indicated that it shouldn't be happening and to reach out to support for additional assistance. I do believe something must have changed with my use case attempting to write to a Flipper Zero, and it was probably an update to that device that broke the previously functioning behavior, and not the app or iOS. The app works as intended for other use cases and the issue I experienced is not related to the app itself.

3. 5/5Essential if you have n2 Elite Tag

   First off, this app is most definitely worth the cost. It is the most efficient way to organize and use your amiibos effectively. It works especially well with the n2 Elite Tag. It can both read and write to it along with randomizing the serial of the .bin file if need be. To transfer your existing .bin files from another device to this app, you can use google drive, dropbox, ect. which makes it extremely sleek and easy to get started with. This app is the slickest, fastest software to use in tandem with the n2 elite tag even being faster/easier to use than n2 elites own pc software. 10/10

4. 4/5Almost perfect

   Currently the app is not able to scan or import the new Animal Crossing series 5 cards. They can attempted to be scanned by the app but are immediately rejected with the message “this is not an amiibo” when scanned. Yet the actual game, ACNH, recognizes them just fine. Importing backups for season 5 cards will attempt to import them, and in fact state that the amiibo backups are loaded, but alas, when looking at the cards attempted to be loaded, the respective cards remain in the “unscanned” state. The app works fine for every other Animal Crossing season I tested as well as miscellaneous figures I collected over the years. Once support is fixed for AC series 5, I will update with 5 stars. Also, loading in multiple backup files at once is a really nice feature!

5. 4/5I enjoy it :) (would love to add my boxed amiibos)

   I do really enjoy this App! There’s a lot of small slice of life features like functionality with other games and there release. I like that it’s easily organizable and scanning in my Amiibo took me a second to figure out but once I did it was cool 😎 I will say the one thing I’d really like if they added was some way to enter my boxed amiibos as well. I get this app is to save your Amiibo on your phone and all that fun stuff but I use this more as a see what I have in my collection kinda thing. It be nice to just press a button and it say “these are the ones you have in box” and when you try using your phone as a Amiibo it just won’t work, I’d be fine with that. But good app.
