  1. 5/5Incredible App & Mission - Here is some feedback

First off, I love this app and company. AllSides creates a headache free way to sift through the fog and determine what is actually going on in the world. It’s my favorite app on my phone, and I can’t wait to see where AllSides goes in the future. Feedback: I’ve noticed that the social channels and this app are not in sync. Sometimes I want to post something on my Instagram from the app, and I go to the AllSides Instagram and I find it hasn’t been updated to reflect the app. It would be nice if everything could be uniform across the board with news and updates.

  2. 1/5Great idea, but poor navigation in the app

I love the ability to compare right/left/center news however, there’s no back button?? Once you click on a story you can’t get back to the main page unless you close out the app completely and start over. This is something so basic, it’s kind of hard to believe this app is missing such a critical feature that every single app manages to have. Please fix this!! I probably won’t be very active on reading the news using this app if I have to shut it down every time to read a new article I want to be informed about.

  3. 2/5Only magnifies mainstream media bias

I’ve used this app for several years and become more and more disappointed by it, to the point where I’ve decided to delete it and switch to another news aggregator. Unfortunately, by surveying all the major news outlets and compiling and summarizing the most-covered stories, AllSides is only magnifying the biases of the mainstream media. Dramatic stories which the media tends to over-cover such as the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the minute dealings of Donald Trump’s life, the Epstein files etc. fill your newsfeed while those under-covered, such as the genocide in Gaza, the Big Beautiful Bill’s effect on SNAP and other social programs, and other political decisions that have a real impact on your life, are totally lacking. For example, at this moment AllSides has five different headlines up about Charlie Kirk, from “Suspected Kirk Killer Tyler Robinson Lived with Transgender Romantic Partner” to “Was Kirk Practicing Politics the Right Way?” Meanwhile Netanyahu’s announcement that Israel is planning to occupy all of Gaza wasn’t covered at all. At first I thought that at least the comparison of perspectives on these issues would be interesting and enlightening. But most of the time it falls into simple, predictable tropes and talking points we’re all too familiar with. I don’t think most Americans need AllSides to tell them that Republicans think immigrants are stealing their jobs and Democrats disagree. Lastly, AllSides was very quick to hop on the AI bandwagon, which noticeably affected the nuance and even veracity of their summaries. (There have been several summaries I’ve seen where information has been unequivocally incorrect.) If you’re somehow able to avoid all the content being shouted at you from TV screens, grocery store check-out lanes and social media the AllSides newsfeed might be new and interesting to you. But I’d hope that people come to this app looking for a place with truly balanced, real-world, life-affecting news, and unfortunately that is no longer what it is offering.

  4. 2/5Switched to Ground News

I have been over the all sides app for a while now but only recently found a better substitute. The app continually glitches out by highlighting certain text in white and blending other text in with the dark background, making it totally unreadable. The app will often go for days without updating, forcing me to rely on biased internet searches for news. I like the presentation of multiple biases, but the write-ups are inconsistent and oftentimes exclude one side or the other. The write-ups have started to become more biased in that they have begun to use some of the keywords they like to call out in sensationalized articles. Also, their AI write-ups are often full of typos, a sign of another company diving into AI “because it’s cool” rather than having a plan or the knowledge of how to use it. Really wish they could have moved forward and improved because I liked the app for years, but at this point Ground News has proven to be the better option.

  5. 5/5Finally Real Balance news

After spending the last four years reading fake news from liberal and conservative news sources. I am so happy that finally I have real news source has been invented to show all sides. You can delete google news as well as ABC NBC CNN and Fox this app will provide you all the new sources and rate them on political biasness,And unlike Twitter and Facebook the fact checkers aren’t biased either.
