1. 5/5Love it, very impressive app!

   Love this app! The scanning functionality is super quick and accurate, and the UI makes it easy and fun to use. The included user guide is very thorough and is one of the best written user guides I’ve ever seen on an app. It maintains a light and humous tone while delivering all the essential information needed to use the app and improve your health. The breadth of potentially harmful ingredients it can check for is quite extensive. I’m surprised at how fast it’s able to find them! Overall I’m very impressed, keep up the great work Nosher! Looking forward to what lies ahead!

2. 5/5Great App With Great Speed

   The animations and the whole interface is very easy to use. I love how quickly it scans items. Love how it points out the different ingredients that I used to skip over in the past. Recommend for someone who is too lazy to read the back of food products.

3. 1/5Works poorly

   I’m disappointed in this app... I was excited initially as they offer a lifetime license, and I prefer that to the perpetual subscription that everybody seems to want from you these days, but using the app leaves much to be desired. It misses obvious allergens, and then will latch onto part of an ingredient (e.g. “cream” in “coconut cream”) and flag that, when it’s not actually a problem. The little gray boxes that appear onscreen when it’s identifying text also always appear in the same place (middle right of screen) regardless of where the text actually is. It really doesn’t seem to read the text at all on labels with tiny text, and the fact that it just returns a “safe to eat” when this happens is alarming to say the least.

4. 1/5Didn’t give any information aside from product name

   The first and only thing I scanned for my shellfish allergy and it told me it couldn’t give any information and therefore couldn’t check my restrictions. It scanned the item and even told me what it was with a picture of the item. But that’s it. I love sushi and saw a salmon sushi and from what I could see there wasn’t any shellfish but I wanted to make sure because you just never know. This app gave me no useful information. Thankfully a worker was nearby and was able to help but I paid the year subscription with excitement that this app could help me. Was very wrong. Don’t recommend.

5. 5/5Simple and functional

   First of all this is a great app hands down. I was able to get my eating habits much cleaner by knowing what is in the ingredients of the things i consume on a daily basis. However, there is a paywall. I recommend it if you are planning on scanning through the entire pantry.
