Introducing a whole new way to play! Coaches’ lives are about to get so much easier with new features like Coach notes, Custom locations, Score input, and the Home feed surfacing the more important information. We’re giving Coaches the autonomy to manage their own teams, locations, and scores through the mobile app to improve parents and players’ team experience. Want more details? Happy to help! We’ve improved our app’s design and navigation so it’s easier to see the most important information at the right time, including in a new Home feed. This includes coach notes which are high priority staff messages that will be sent as emails and push notifications, and displayed as alerts in the app (so no one misses them!). We’ve also added more event management features for coaches, allowing staff to create and add custom event locations on the fly, as well as input scores after the games directly in the mobile app. Now, go focus on what’s important—play!

In our latest app update, we've rolled out several key improvements to simplify your youth sports experience. We've introduced a new payment feature on the Home Feed to ensure you never miss a payment. Additionally, we've updated the default Home Feed, Teams, Calendar, and Message tabs to minimize confusion and reassure you that you're in the right place, even when schedules and rosters are not published. Plus, we've fixed the bug that was preventing announcements from being hidden.

You can now easily register for open programs directly within the app. Plus, tournament schedule views are here: get real-time updates on schedules, locations, RSVPs, brackets, and more. Additionally, if your schedules haven’t been published yet, we’ve added new screens to guide you through the app. And, last but not least, we now give you the ability to add events with external teams; and have improved how you can view members in the app, input and update scores, and more!

Admins can now use this mobile app to manage their organizations on and off the field! In this version, admins can see exactly what their coaches and staff see—across their entire organization. This means that they can view all teams’ schedules, members, details, chats, and announcements; as well as schedule and edit games and events (including creating custom locations and external teams). Admins can also use this app to stay on top of attendance by sending RSVP reminders and checking-in athletes as they arrive. And, no sweat if the admin is also a coach or parent—we’ve made it easy for them to switch between these roles and stay on top of everything right from their phone!

What's New: Measurement Attributes in Player Reports. Coaches can now record objective performance data, like 40-yard dash times, exit velocity, and serve counts, directly in player evaluations in LeagueApps Play - no separate emails or tracking systems required. Coaches can enter numeric values with units (e.g., seconds, MPH), and athletes and families see those measurements alongside other ratings in shared player reports for clearer, more objective feedback.

Introducing global search in Admin mode! In this version, admins can search for members, teams, and programs across their entire organization. It’s now super easy for admins to quickly find any information they need right from their phone. This includes parent and guardian contact details so admins can initiate calls, texts, or emails from the app.

Great news! Athletes can now log into the app to easily access their schedules, rosters, team info, and submit RSVPs. Plus, they can stay informed with organization announcements and coach notes. This update gives athletes more independence while simplifying life for parents managing busy schedules. And there's more on the way—athlete chat features are coming soon!

This release paves the way for the upcoming feature allowing athletes to chat in the app! The chat messaging functionality is fully SafeSport compliant. Additionally, athletes can view schedules, rosters, coach notes, announcements; and submit RSVPs. Please note that your sports organization must enable this athlete access setting for U18 athletes to use these features.

Users can now share images directly within chat messages—whether it's team photos, location maps, or game highlights. Recipients can easily view, download, and share these images within the conversation thread. Additionally, staying updated with tournaments is now more flexible with support for multiple brackets. Effortlessly switch between brackets to stay informed and organized throughout the event.
