   This app is about milking users for money and not providing a quality service. Like other apps from this developer, you pay a high priced subscription for “all features” just to be surrounded by more paywalls after subscribing. There are development costs for calculations, factoring location, using apis (all necessary for Vedic astrology timing calculations on a phone), but I am horrified by people selling spiritual services/information through deceptive business practices and antagonizing users in review responses. As another reviewer mentioned, you have to pay for access to prayers, which require no ongoing costs for the developer. Cosmic Insights (parent company) continues to show lack of integrity and respect for people. Update based on developer response: My original review validated your need to charge because astrology apps have ongoing costs. My criticism is how you respond to customers (not a great look for a spiritual app) and that you say everything is included in the subscription when it is not. It’s important to me to get spiritual guidance from honest, kind, service-based people, and this company is unfortunately not that (as good as the features may be).

   They are just playing with people and their mind. While I do believe a lot in Vedic astrology this app is just a commercial vehicle to take advantage of people who in the first place would look for it when they are emotionally weak or going through some hardship. I subscribed for the premium membership $9.99/month, played with it for few hours and cancelled subscription. There was literally nothing specific to me or my Kundli. The ask question thing is ridiculous- makes you choose a number like a lottery 😂 and if you pick the same number it will give the same answer for every question. If you want to look at weekly or monthly forecast, good luck. Even with subscription you shall get a general one. And if you try hard to look for personalized info it take you to a page which at the top lists your vedic and western signs (which of course are different) but then it is followed by icons for western signs that you need to click to get your personalized forecast. And of course you pick whether you want weather or vedic icon to click 🤦🏽‍♂️ All I'll say I've not seen a more ridiculous app. The 5 star rating is either all paid or hacked. Don't blindly trust me, feel feee to try. My advice start with monthly subscription if you pay and then decide if you want to go annual if you like. My advice avoid altogether. In the mean time my search continues

3. 5/5No calendar on monthly subscription!!??

   ok, i really love this app and I haven’t written a single review on apple but this one I had to! I think it’s really ridiculous to limit the calendar usage to just annual or lifetime users. I’m paying more than both of the other options that do allow calendar integration and supposedly i have a premium access.... but not really. why? what if i don’t have the money for annual or lifetime? why pay 10 dollars a month and not get all the premium access? i wanted to just do one star but i wouldn’t be being honest. so why not offer the whole premium to monthly subscribers too? This should be changed asap and if it is, i’ll change my review. right now not sure i’ll keep it or refer out to my clients. just saying

4. 2/5Loyal customers pay 30% more than new customers. Why?

   Edited on June 06, 2021: $80 for the loyal customers, while you ask for either $48 or $64 for the new ones. Why such a gross discrimination? Are we being penalized for being loyal? Looking forward to your response! ========================= Old review: Good app, but difficult to read mantras which were written in English. Great app! I have been using it since Feb 2019 - so that bears testimony of my liking of this app. But, but, but... As I have mentioned in feedbacks a few times, please write the mantras in Sanskrit or Hindi (along with English). It is easier to pronounce that way. Let me give some examples: The app uses “dh”, “th”, ā, et cetera. Now is this ध, or द, or ड?? I earnestly urge you to give the mantras in the original language, along with the English Language. I know that for many few you have already done that. Looking forward to see this change in all the mantras. Thank you so much for enlightening our lives. 😃 Another example of confusion: Om Tamasadharaya Namah Here, is this pronounced as Tamas + Adharaya, or, Taam+Saa+Dhaaraaye This is the only reason I have been appealing for writing the mantras in Sanskrit as well as English! I hope you understand.

5. 1/5False advertisement. Bait and switch. No full access

   The policy states whether you have a yearly or monthly membership, you have full access to all features. You do NOT receive full access if you have a monthly membership. The only Add on you’re supposed to pay for is Panchapaksi. Everything else should be accessible. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AND BREACH OF CONTRACT TO FORCE ME TO UPGRADE TO A YEARLY MEMBERSHIP IN ORDER TO HAVE FULL ACCESS TO THE APP AS THE AGREEMENT STATES. Over the past couple months, I’ve learned that most of this is a pattern, you’re not getting any information on the deities to learn how to do the chants, pronounce mantras properly and a lot of the mantras can’t be found unless you download and pay for another one of their sister apps which again, doesn’t give you any information on pronunciation nor do you get to listen to chants. They only have a chant counter which does nothing for beginners and those utilizing the apps to enhance their spirituality. All together, the app is not worth it unless you are already deep into Hinduism and Vedic Astrology.
