   From their savings account that gives you a way better return than any bank would on a savings account to making it easy to spread payments out on items this app and company has been great to me for years now. You have a variety of options to pay for items over a shorter time with no interest or longer with some interest it allows you to have the flexibility to make that choice yourself. I just recently had an issue with Home Depot only sending half an order and canceling the other half, after calling I was instantly credited back on the loan for what was never shipped and although it wasn’t Affirm’s fault and I’ve never had this happen before they kept apologizing for Home Depot’s mistake. I had called Home Depot prior to try and resolve and would have liked to have gotten all the products but instead was treated rudely then left on hold for 30-40 mins before I hung up with never being helped. Affirm is a great option to make purchases over time with either 0 interest or minimal and right now dealing with medical issues they have been a perfect solution for getting items needed for my recent move. I’ve not missed a payment and my purchase power(credit line) keeps going up. The one or 2 times I’ve asked to delay a payment withdrawal for a day or 2 as long as I give them a heads up more than a day or 2 they have always worked with me. They truly are a great company to work with and I can’t say enough good things about them! Try them out and I promise you won’t regret it!!! I rarely leave reviews but after today yet again being given great customer support on top of them offering a reliable and useful service I felt I had to.

2. 5/5Identity Fraud Non-Verification

   Whether you’ve been a customer for years and paid your past purchases on time and all Paid off, this company will not verify your person if you have identity fraud on your credit. I’ve had to have identity fraud on all three credit reports as of recently, and not thinking on it went ahead to purchase an item of which I’ve purchased through affirm and paid off. (I’ve been an Affirm customer since around 2014). Once I was in the affirm app site, I received a message that I would need to be called and verified due to the identity fraud. I waited for a couple days with no call from Affirm. Though it stated it would call me 1-3 business days on the site. I decided to call thereafter and for three weeks straight spoke to different reps. Each rep would tell me they would call me back once I hung up the call. I never once received a return call. This company was great while I was able to benefit from it, but if you ever have identity fraud at your end, you will not receive the courtesy they state on their site to call you and verify your person over the phone. It’s been a waste of my time trying to connect and they ask me questions to then tell me there going to call and they do not call. I’ve deleted the app because it’s a no-go at my end with this company at this stage. Terrible service.

3. 5/5Was skeptical at first…

   And I was right to be skeptical. DONT USE THIS APP‼️‼️‼️I had never used affirm or Afterpay or anything like this before, but I needed some clothes and I used affirm for Shein through SHEIN. I figured since i’m using it to pay off SHEIN, which was not a big order; I would just download affirm and see what it was about. I needed to get my eyes checked, and I went to Sam’s Club and went to Sam’s optical thinking that I could use this for that since Sam’s is supported. And it’s not supported because the eye doctor is independent which is fine I understand. But when I tried to charge the service, it needed a down payment of $65; but because she was independent, affirm declined the transaction. But while they declined the transaction, they still took the $65 from me! Contacted customer support and literally the only thing this “ supervisor” ( which apparently is literally a figure head to appease the masses) could do for me was say sorry. that’s all they offered me was a sorry. They couldn’t give me a reason of why a declined transaction still took money and I still have to wait till next week to get it back.(3-5 business days, but honestly) do not get this app. This was literally my first time using them and once I pay off Shein, I am absolutely deleting it. Save yourself the headache and stupidity.

4. 5/5No hidden fees, straight forward, easy to manage app!

   Ok, yes this a higher interest loan, but overall I’m impressed with Affirm & the product the offer. They are upfront on how much it’s going to cost u if you take the loan out with them. I’ve used affirm several different times & as of today not once has there been any strange or extra fees that has disappeared from my checking account. Also, so far, the only type of loan they offered me has been a straight up installment loan spread over 12 mos. with a set interest rate as the ONLY fee I’m being charged. There hasn’t been a fee to use the actual card they provide, or origination fees, membership fees...none of that. Since I pay them off way before the 12 mos anyways, it’s been a nice back up for me as I’ve faced unexpected medical costs, car issues, two teens still at home, and all the other hardships that ALL of us usually end up dealing with. If things get it of whack it’s nice knowing that I have affirm to help me out & I don’t have to worry that there is some hidden catch, or worse, several catches. Again, no problems so far with any of my personal checking /savings accounts that I use to pay my Affirm loans, no extra payments taken out, or recurring payments that “accidentally” still get taken out if my checking acct even after I’ve paid the loan in full. I’m happy to use affirm & I've come to trust that they aren’t out to rob me blind. It’s great to know what they are all about & how they can help me & my family if any issues arise where I’d need to use their services.....So far Affirm has been easy to deal with, and can get me the cash I need in about 2 mins-or less! 5. 1/5Worst customer service ever!!

   I was enjoying affirm to start with until..I happened to check my affirm app one day and noticed there were 10 fraudulent purchases that had been declined. I was supposed to be getting an affirm card in the mail never received it, I requested for another one after a month of waiting, never received that one either. So I contacted them about the situation and they kept telling me the fraudulent purchases were from the “virtual card” and not the “physical card” yet the virtual card is a one time use card only so how could it have been used 10 times at 10 different online stores?? I then requested to have the physical card canceled and they said that a case was being opened and someone would contact me my phone or email 3-5 business days later. Here it is 2 months later and have not heard anything from them. So I called to find out what was going on they have no record of anything that had went on 2 months ago when I called, and apparently instead of them canceling just my physical card they canceled my whole account. I asked to reopen my account and got the someone will contact me in 3-5 business days. To add to this every person iv spoke to on the phone with affirm barely knows how to speak any English at all it’s very hard to understand them not to mention all the background noise as well from people talking and moving around. I don’t usually do reviews like this or leave reviews at all but I’m beyond fed up with this company and their ridiculously sorry customer service..
