   While ADT+ customer service impresses me, the equipment and operational procedures relegate customers to a secondary status, lacking the same support as regular ADT clients, creating a sense of being marginalized. Although ADT positions itself as a leading home security provider, the ADT+ service modality provides the customer with a significant lower quality in products, making the customer feel like a bastard unwanted child. When I attempted the cancel the service I was told that I had to pay $1600 for early termination for a product that has not even met the basic standards of being able to operate. Again, the ADT+ customer service is amazing but not it’s product and technical support. This highlights a significant contradiction, if you are thinking about a home security system, do not place the security of your family in a huge contradiction look somewhere else and do not contract ADT+ which is aimed to collect money from you without delivering the peace of mind you are looking for while shopping for a reliable home security system. 2. 1/5An embarrassing app

   Got a self install kit from the google deprecation of its security system. Oh boy, I hit I think every issue others have called out in their reviews, it’s so obviously broken I can’t imagine why the company has not fixed it. You need to call their number and speak with a person to unbreak your account so you can even login. Countless other errors that magically fixed themselves after 10+ retries. If anyone has used another self service app, this one is missing obvious features such as a glance of the devices in the system. A simple question “are any doors open?” is not answerable without multiple taps around the app. Take a look at the countdown when you arm your system. I’ve never seen a countdown go in two second increments. Except they are not exactly 2 seconds, I’ve seen it jump 3 seconds before. ADT has a real stinker of an app with this one. Google integration, like others have said, is broken at best and nonexistent for most. I’ve disabled it to get rid of the black screen nest cameras that claimed to be supported but most definitely are not.

3. 1/5Buyer Beware !

   Please be mindful this is a contract company and if you would like to leave, you have to pay entire amount upfront regardless if the faulty equipment works or not. We could not use our equipment for 3 months due to the app not working and we were still being charged. The customer service is hard to get ahold of and cannot fix any issue you have with the app or equipment. The worst part is they know the app doesn’t work and prompt you to log in online however the online version prompts you to use the app. A lot of the functions on the app do not work and prompts you to call customer support, who when you can actually get to speak to them tell you they will call you back and never do ! I am currently still stuck in practice mode supposedly only a 7 day period (does not monitor) although I’m paying for 24/7 monitoring I’ve had this system since December ! Unfortunately I purchased this system (self service) before I saw the app reviews. Hopefully this helps anyone considering ADT, ADT + or anything else they provide don’t do it !

   1. The CSR (customer service representative), that I spoke to yesterday, was super efficient, articulate and pleasant with explaining the differences of a previous competitor I used to have services with, and ADT+. She also set up an installation appointment for me the very next day, on a Saturday. This typically takes at least a month in advance to book with other companies I’ve used. She guided me through a safe payment portal to enter my information via email, instead of saying it over the phone, which makes me feel safer. 🎇Flexibility and efficiency points 💪 👑 2. The installation professional called promptly when he was parking and guided me through the installation process with clear expectations set. He was a very knowledgeable, effectively proficient and helpful installation technician. 🎇Efficiency and reliability points ⭐️💪 3. First impressions mean everything in business. It sets the tone for the entire company’s quality, reputation and customer-company relational structure. Being impressed and blown away by service is an understatement. I look forward to the future of telling everyone I know about this company if they ask, and I’m so excited and proud of them. I immediately called for stickers, to put on my door, to let everyone know who I’m with. Exceptional overall quality service!!!! 🙂✌️👑 Everything (the equipment and app) works seamlessly and it’s fun to use. 👀 Features: The app has night vision for indoor cameras, real time movement notifications and finally I feel safer already! Live monitoring is included with typical services. Praise God!! 👍⭐️💪 🎇 No critiques. I’m simply grateful, and genuinely appreciative for this way of protecting my home, and for projective future endeavors.    Worst app i have ever used and Ive never reviewed an app this low, but if anything, thats bc other apps do not determine the safety of my household, my family, nor my property. I work in this house all day everyday and have had people steal from my backyard, urinate/defecate in my backyard, come on my side porch in the middle of the peering in through the door and when i need to quickly see footage or go to my live cams, it lags every time. If it werent for the Google Home app, half the emergencies that have come about wouldnt have been captured in time. After so many updates, i had a lil hope, but this last update, they just made the icons smaller and less responsive while harder to pinpoint the touch on top of the lag still being slow beyond belief. Dont even have suggestions for what could make it better after thousands of dollars have went into replacing property and preventing future issues that were completely preventable to begin with. It would be a zero but they force a star to review.
