1. 5/5Great application and customer service

   I recently completed the defensive driving course. I used the web version as well as their app in my spare time. It was very easy to use, no bugs or “lagging” like in other courses I’ve taken online. They make it a little bit funny so you don’t get bored with it. Also, their customer service is excellent. I called to expedite the shipment of my certificate and they answered very nicely and fulfilled my request as promised. I recommend this course to anyone that wants to dismiss a traffic ticket. It’s in the list of courses approved by the court.

2. 5/5Aceable saved my marriage

   I am the worlds worst procrastinator- I waited until the absolute last minute to complete the course- I had read about the expedited shipping and had submitted my payment minutes too late (still after knowing this time window 😳🙁). I contacted their customer service and they went above and beyond to get my certificate in the mail so it could reach me in time! My husband how’s no idea how I was able to swing this as it was due today to the court- let’s just say he believes in miracles now 😏

3. 1/5Very Disappointed

   While it was nice to be able to take the course on my phone, it was very buggy, and I’ve yet to get a reply from customer service regarding being overcharged. Cons- Multiple times there were multiple choice questions with the same answer repeated twice. The jokes were insultingly unfunny at times. Also, I was literally cringing by the end at how many times they tried to insert their name into the course using humor or references to good “Aceable” drivers. I felt like it was in appropriate how many times the narrator would insult people or former bad decisions that had been made. It should be an education and not commentary on the writers personal opinions, even when it’s the popular opinion. I chose this app based on reviews and cost. It claimed to be $25, but yet I was charged $40. I didn’t see a phone number to call, so I was forced to email. It’s been four days and I still haven’t received a reply. I’m going to contact the BBB if I don’t hear back soon. Pros It was easy to jump in and out on the app. It kept my place and I could fit a few minutes in here and there throughout the day. It feels like the app is a work in progress, and it’s not polished yet. Fix all the errors, rethink a few sections, get a real customer service, and refund the money you stole from me!

   I took this course to dismiss a ticket. If you’re like me and have almost no time to schedule an in person class for 6 hrs, I would try this class! The course can be paused at your convenience and begin when you left it. There’s memes throughout the entire program along with the optional read-along voiceover Robot Ace! But be prepared and pay attention! Know that there are pop quizzes during chapters, questions after videos (you have to rewatch if answer is incorrect),4 question tests after all 11 chapters, and security pop ups along the way. The state of Texas requires the course to be 6 hours long so the pages are timed and cannot be bypassed, but still very helpful! The material overall is engaging, straightforward, and pretty easy if you’re paying attention. When finished with the course, it’ll prompt you with the option of a drivers record. Mine took admittedly longer than the initial two days to send to my e-mail, however, with customer support, I was able to receive my record on time. The support team is understanding, responsive, and quick! I don’t wish to have to receive another ticket, but if I did, this course would definitely be my pick! As it should be yours too!

5. 1/5Don’t believe the hype

   I have nothing to gain or lose from writing this review. I have purchased and completed the 180 hour real estate course that Aceable offers and I thought that was great because it explained the necessary information in a way that was fun and quick. However this defensive driver course makes you “swipe left” every ten seconds which is ridiculous. In one hour that means just to get going I have to swipe left 360 times in TX you have to do six hours of coursework so that’s over 2,000 times I have to swipe left just to get through the entire course. If I had known that I would have just gone somewhere else. At least at a six hour comedy class you can sit there and do nothing and it’ll be over before you know it. When it comes to learning real estate it’s a new thing your learning so your interested in every slide. When your taking a course in something that youve been doing for 15 years you don’t want to sit there and have to wait ten seconds just so you go to the next slide talking about “what should you do when there is fog outside” or “what should you do when you’re being pulled over.” I mean give me a break. I bought this course because of the overwhelmingly large amount of five star reviews, I wish there was someone who posted a review like this warning people that they would have to swipe left over two thousand times just to get done with this course. There needs to be a course out there that allows you to go at least about fifteen minutes before you have to swipe left. (I’m sure it already exists) I could deal with having to swipe left 30 times to get through with a six hour course but 2000 times?!! Man get out of here with this crap.
