Accounts and Balances

A 4th info button has been added so that Accounts and Balances now shows the number of Accounts next to the sum of their Balances – navigate into a folder and the counts and amounts update. Updated for the latest iOS. Fixed an issue when a long list of folders could get truncated.

• With this update you can setup money transfers between accounts – like paying a monthly credit card (where you track individual transactions). Just use the new "Transfer" option next to "Pay" or "Receive" amounts, and on the specified date one account will have the amount deducted, and the other will have the balance increased. • For added flexibility in managing accounts, this update also allows for moving Accounts between Folders, and for moving Entities between Accounts. • A search feature has been added so you can filter the list of entities by name. • When reviewing the list of an entity's transactions, the color of the transactions has been updated so it's easier to differentiate present, future, and past entries. • Fixed the daily repeating transactions not showing (just totally wasn't included before this release).

Accounts now display a 12 Month balance trend chart when viewing their balance snapshots. A new Account setting allows the user to choose a default view for an account: Timeline, Entities, or Snapshots.

Version 2.1 brings powerful trend charts and date-range analytics to help you understand your spending patterns. Combined with improved readability, better calendar integration, and refined UI elements, managing your finances is even easier. What's New: Trend Charts – A new trend chart shows above your transaction amounts and compares it against the same period in the prior year. Now you can see how spending or income compares to last time. Account Chart with Range Picker – A new combined chart when viewing folder and account net worth lets you view your balances across several date ranges or all time. And Account Snapshots have a range picker too. Visual Timeline Animation – The timeline weekly estimate chart highlights the week in sync as you scroll through the timeline calendar for better context. Enhanced Entity Visibility – The entities list shows the next due date for future transactions, so you can see when your next transaction is due at a glance. Account Export – you can export a list of your accounts and their balances. Improved Layouts and Polish – All menu items feature associated icons for faster navigation. Plus, the Today button is now animated for a more polished feel. Version 3.0 brings on-device insights, including AI insights if supported by your device, app notifications, and improved charts to help you stay on top of your finances. What's New: Insights – A new Insights feature shows you key financial metrics and monthly trends. AI Summary – On supported devices, get a private, on-device summary of your accounts and balances with actionable insights — your data never leaves your device. Notifications – Stay informed with on-device alerts for account balance thresholds and app reminders. Get notified when a balance crosses a level you care about, so you're never caught off guard. Updated Charts – The snapshot chart now displays more data points when viewing shorter date ranges, giving you a more detailed and accurate picture of your balance over time. The timeline chart features more subtle variations to show changes. Tap to View Account Details – on iPhone, tapping an account from the Accounts or Balances views now takes you directly to the account details, putting more information just one tap away.

Version 4.0 introduces new Widgets, better notification controls, and UI improvements. Version 5.0 improves the account timeline in Accounts and the All Upcoming Transactions list.

Version 5.1 adds an app lock, timeline improvements, and performance improvements. What's new: Biometric App Lock - Added a setting to lock the app with Face ID, Touch ID, or Optic ID, when available, while allowing widget information to update. Timeline Improvements - In the upcoming timeline view, transfers now appear in the list under both related accounts. Performance Improvements - Improved overall app performance.

Version 5.1 adds an app lock, timeline improvements, and performance improvements. Version 5.1.1 has a minor fix so that app lock now supports a lenient fallback to your device passcode or password when Face ID, Touch ID, or Optic ID cannot be used.

With Release 5.2, when editing a recurring transaction, instead of a single field where you edit the previous amount, the previous amount is always shown separately and the field is used to input a new amount. It's a small change to make it easier for updating the amount.

Version 6.0 features 1 less tap, which makes everyday account management faster with a streamlined startup experience, improved sharing and export workflows, and new reconcile tools. What's New: 1 less tap! - The app now opens directly to the full account list, reducing taps and making navigation between folders and accounts quicker. More Graphs - Account graphs are shown next to account names, either timeline or trend graphs based on your account preferences. Compacted Views - Timeline views hide days without transactions for a clearer, more compact list. New Sharing - You can now share and copy simple lists of accounts, entities, and upcoming transactions, with a tap. New Reconcile Tools - Reconcile lets you compare your transactions with statements. If there's a discrepancy then you can make simple adjustments. Add Entities - Creating entities is faster from the toolbar. Version 6.1 adds startup privacy controls for balances and net worth, snapshot change indicators, and a set of UI refinements for charts, navigation, toolbar actions, and text consistency. What's New: Startup Privacy Controls - Choose whether account balances and net worth are shown or hidden at startup, and reveal or hide them anytime. Value Change Indicators - Account snapshots now show both the value change amount and percent change for the selected range. UI and Navigation Polish - Charts now include colors and shading. Date range selection is remembered when switching between accounts. Account navigation order is now Timeline, Snapshots, Entities. Account buttons were updated so Reconcile is a primary toolbar action. Font sizing is more consistent across views, and Reconcile page text wrapping was fixed.
