5/5All their apps that I’ve tried are perfection 🏆
I think it’s because I’m autistic and have ADHD that I love their apps so much. Everything is easy on the eyes and ears. Simple, clear, and easy to navigate. They use soothing music and voices and there are no flashy distractions. I’ve been dealing with PTSD and chronic illness for most of my life and have used their meditation app “Serenity” for several years now after applying for their financial difficulties option when I was at rock bottom, living in my friend’s cold basement with a cancer diagnosis and suicidality. They kindly granted me access and I worked through the entire meditation program and now 3-4 years later I’m in a much better place both in terms of my living situation, as well as my mental and physical health. I’m now entering my 40’s cancer free and have improved physically enough that I’m working my way through their yoga programs. I love that the sessions can be shorter or longer depending on my needs for the day, and the recent update brought so many new options I think it would take several years to work through them all. I’m stable enough now to pay for this one although I’m still way below poverty level I was happy to do so, it’s a very reasonable price even for someone as poor as me. I can honestly say these apps played a significant role in saving my life and I hope they continue to succeed. So far, every app update has been an improvement imo, although it could probably be argued that I’m biased at this point ☺️

5/5Easy New Year’s Resolution
I am a lover of yoga. I have practiced yoga for several years but recently a change in life circumstances has made it difficult for me to practice yoga to the extent I would like. I have let my yoga practice become nonexistent. This year I made a commitment to myself to practice yoga every day, if only for a few minutes. I get easily bored if I do the same thing every day. This app has been perfect! I can set a notification to remind me to practice each day, and the app gives me 5 simple poses each day and guides me through a simple practice. It doesn’t have much guidance other than “Here is the pose, now hold it for about a minute”. Thankfully I am experienced enough in yoga that I know what to be looking for in my mind and body as I practice, and I know how to put myself in the right state of mind for a peaceful productive practice. I also like that the app tracks each day and shows me my chain of practice days. I believe it has 365 sessions - perfect for one a day for the entire year! Just three days in I am feeling wonderful and back on track with my practice. The five poses are different every day, which helps me stay interested and not get bored. The app does make you purchase the full app after the second session, so it isn’t really a “free” app. It costs $10 after the first two sessions.

3/5Liked the old version better
I wrote a five star review for the earlier version of this app, which was just right for me (hold each pose for 50 seconds- just 5 poses). But the big update presents a smooth fast routine of many more poses. It gives pacing options but even the slowest option is way too fast for me. I am sure many people asked for this, but I don’t care for it, and wish I had never updated the app. I would prefer half the number of poses, (not repeating the poses in a given day would help) held for longer. Or at least a way (besides the pause button) to increase the time significantly more. I am still using it for now, and it’s still good, clean user experience. I just preferred the old approach. UPDATE: I have stopped using this app. In fact, I created a set of actual paper cards containing about 30 different poses. Using the timer on my phone and a random selection of the cards I have re-created the older version of this app. LOL

5/5Very centered
What a fabulous app! I have been afraid to get back to yoga for so long, put on a few pounds, getting old, no metabolism, etc. etc. etc. I have always loved the concept of yoga, but when I go to yoga classes, they expect my out of shape self to be able to do it all IMMEDIATELY!!!!!. This is five minutes, easy to commit to , you can feel it working your body without being painful or overwhelming, the instructions are concise and calming, and I feel I can stick with with this app and this yoga regimen. At the end of the five minute session, they ask you to focus on how you feel and I could actually feel some pent up angst and tension being released out of my system.. I’d recommend this to anybody even after only one session. Great job guys!
