  1. 5/5Great app that keeps me motivated

I love the concept of starting small and adding a little bit every day. When I started, I could barely do 10 push-ups, but now I breeze past that goal. I have been using the app for sit-ups and can now do over 50 without stopping, something I didn’t think I’d be able to say before. In the beginning of using this app, some days would be harder than others, but now that I’m a few months in, there are less “hard” days, until I raise the stakes in my next challenge. I’m over 50 years old, and if I can do it, so can you.

  2. 5/5Simple Home Workouts

Never wrote a review before, but felt motivated to after using the app daily for the past two weeks. The simplistic body weight exercises provided by the app are incredibly simple and easy to get into especially in my case as someone who’s never exercised frequently. One of the best elements of the app is the daily increase of each workout which helps keep the exercises challenging, but not impossible which building up your tolerance to said exercises. My only complaint is the app could highly benefit from an Apple Watch extension, but aside from that I highly recommend this app!!

  3. 5/5Helped me build a habit of working out

I’ve been using the app since last month, i took a break in the middle of last month because i was on vacation but went back on immediately and realized that i was actually doing the work and wanting to these workout easy day and finish them. i’ve became lazy the past few years and working out became a hassle. maybe my next step are doing these at a gym rather than home haha. no but this app isn’t something like immediate life changing, but more of a small step to change your life style.

  4. 5/5What a great way to start the year!

I don’t normally go with that “new year, new me” resolution but I’ve been very serious about getting my body in shape. I needed something to keep myself accountable, a trainer of sorts to make sure I remember to put in the work, and something to get me started slowly but increase the difficulty as it got closer to my deadline. Actually just got my reminder (set from inside the app!) that I have a few workouts to do for today! 2 thumbs up to Ed on his hard work! Currently my favorite fitness app of 2020 😎

  5. 5/5One Rep; great way to start the new year...

I used to love to work out... over time, i’ve gotten a little lazy/forgetful though. What better way to keep me honest and motivated than to incrementally increase my reps and also add new moves to my routine on a daily basis while also keeping track of my progress. Enter One Rep! I’ve got big hopes for this one; to top it off, Edouard is a really great dev! He’s constantly revising the app and will be sure to add some great new features in the coming year and i’m sure beyond... really glad i ran across this app!

A huge thank you to all of you how downloaded and tried the app during the AppAdvice featuring. I've taken your feedback on-board and will work through it over the next few updates. Many of you requested more visual content and explanations for each of the exercises, I haven't yet managed to work on this but I have heard you and will think of a solution for this. This update adds the following features: - 10 more exercise types - A daily progress tracker for those who prefer doing their reps and keep track throughout the day. - Updated some languages that could feel offensive for kids (thanks for the feedback Grace) I also fixed a few bugs and improved various elements in the design. Keep sending me feedback, suggestions, and ideas so I can continue to make this app better for you.

  • 1.3.4

Some of you reported issues with the notifications and the days to catch up on when you miss a daily workout. This should be fixed in this version and I added additional logs to better understand these issues in the future.

V1.4 is here. Thanks for all the feedback everyone. Dark Mode is here. I hope you'll like this new style. I can't wait to hear what you think. This new version will also allow you to edit your challenges to increase or decrease their intensity over time. You will also see a new mode on the Challenge details screen. It will let you toggle between a minimal style and a detailed style to get more information about your current progress. The onboarding is also improved to make sure everyone understands their commitment and challenge better. The reminder feature has been moved to make it easier to access as well. If you've been enjoying One Rep so far, please consider leaving a nice review on the App Store. That helps me a lot and you will support the app's development. Til next time, enjoy the daily workouts. Cheers, Ed

Thanks for all the great feedback you guys sent me in the last few weeks. I hope everybody is safe and sounds and that you keep your workouts going from home. This new version brings quite a lot of changes to the app. 1. 3D Models are here to explain the exercises offered in the app. 2. Custom exercises can now be added by Premium users 3. I've added a new display mode on the main tab to let you choose between a list display or a card display. This will be particularly useful for people who do several challenges at once. 4. I've also improved the UX to better highlight that you can tap on any of your challenges to display more details and set up reminders. 5. I fixed additional issues when it comes to reminders and Push notifications There will be more features coming in the next few weeks. Keep sending your feedback and let's make this app better for everyone. Cheers, Ed
