1. 1/5Fishy Marketing Practices

   I was on the app for 8 months. I have a hard time believing the reviews from before that time that say it is great an easy to navigate. It was super clunky when I joined. That has improved some in recent months. I only received one sale shortly after joining, and it was from the CEO. I think they make small purchases to get you to stay longer. I tried the trial version of their Pro subscription, but nothing changed. I was removed from groups asking questions or making comments that weren’t bad at all. I was trying to figure out was was going on. Lately I’ve been seeing lots of Facebook posts by employees or others associated with the company saying they just found out about the app and how great it is, or wish they knew about it sooner. Sometimes even copying a post they found on the app and using it as their own on Facebook. Definitely not the place for me. Feels scammy.

2. 1/5Can I even give a zero star??

   I've been trying to join some chat groups for days, but the app's bugs won't let me. I've tried everything - updating, restarting, reinstalling... nothing works! So, I reach out to customer service, hoping for help. But instead of assistance, I get accused of breaking the chat rules in those groups! Can you believe it? I've never even sent a single message to those groups, let alone broken any rules. The incompetence is staggering. First, your app doesn't work, and then your support team makes false assumptions and accuses me of wrongdoing? Unacceptable! Fix your bugs, and train your support team to actually listen to customers. Until then, I'll be taking my business (and my frustration) elsewhere. RUN AWAY FROM THIS APP PEOPLE! You won’t make any sales here anyway.

3. 4/5Still needs option for variations

   I’ve now been on this app for almost a year and I’m still asking for the same thing. There is still no option for variations when making a listing. That is a pivotal aspect to my craft. I make items of different colors and sizes, so it would be nice for potential buyers to be able to choose such things. So until that is incorporated, I’ll still just have simple listings up. I really like the daily projects/patterns! I’m glad that they recently updated the app to have patterns on its own AND a working search function! I still have yet to make any sales and I have often wondered if many people have. I see posts all the time of people who have jumped ship from Etsy thinking they’re going to do well here, but I’m almost a year into being on this platform and still no hits. So until then, I’m stuck on Etsy.

4. 1/5Flooding Social Media W/ Fake AI Stories

   I had downloaded and signed up for this app in the past, but have since deleted it since noticing they are flooding social media with fake AI stories and stolen photos. Every group I’m in on Facebook is constantly full of engaging AI generated stories based around stolen photos that have been around the internet for 5+ years. A good app should be able to speak for itself without enlisting people to spam Facebook with their fake stories. Most of these posts are also very emotional, family members passing away, mistreated women, etc. to get peoples attention and gain comments. What a gross way to grow a following for your app, by manipulating people’s emotions and straight up lying for advertisement. I scan every long post before I read it now for the words “Tedooo app” and almost every time end up skipping it because it’s clear it’s nothing more than a cheap ploy for engagement and advertising.

5. 5/5A fresh and welcoming community

   First of all, an app that allows you to create a shop, and list and sell your handcrafted items without any fees, is amazing by itself. But what makes this app stand out is the people! It’s incredible to see the support and willingness to help one another that is evident in the people on Tedooo! I have felt very welcomed and uplifted by other crafters. They are always willing to share their advice or compliment another’s work, and I have seen them go as far as to share a newcomer’s shop on their own social media page to help them get started. This is a great place to meet other crafters and to buy and sell handmade products!
