1. 1/5STOP USING STUBHUB

   Honestly, it really upsets me that I even have to put one star on this review. StubHub should not be able to still be in business. The only reason why they’re still in business is because people keep using it. Listen to me when I say stop using StubHub they take your money and then the day of your event, they will tell you that your tickets are no longer available because the seller decided to pull them back. This is not just a one time occurrence this is on many times this has occurred not with me because I would never be that stupid to keep using something over and over. But it happened to one of my friends and it also happened to one of her friends and I didn’t know about it until after I used it and they were like we could’ve told you not to use StubHub so I am on here, doing my good deed and warning everybody, just know that if you purchased tickets off of StubHub, there might be a chance that you will not be able to have those tickets the day of your event and then if there is an option to replace the tickets and let’s say you purchase tickets in a section that was closer to whatever you’re watching or whatever event it is, they’re not gonna give you a refund for the price difference so, if you pay $100 for some seats and then they tell you well the next available seats are the $50 seats. They do not refund you the price difference they expect for you to pay the same price for cheaper seats. The only way you get your refund is to cancel the tickets.

2. 3/5Fake and Undeliverable

   Granted, I only purchased tickets from them one time, but it was a disaster. I had to wait until the day of the concert to get the tickets. When I tried to transfer to them to myself multiple times, it would not work. That led to a lengthy phone discussion. They drug me along for a long time when I just wanted to get my money back. I had to wait for like two hours on the day of the concert to hear back from them. They offered me tickets that were way cheaper than my current ticket, but not an upgrade as it should’ve been. I was finally offered a refund and then went quickly to Ticketmaster to purchase tickets there, which will seamless. Thankfully there were still decent seats available, as otherwise it could’ve been a sold out concert with no seats. I guess the tickets were fake. I’m not sure who is to blame there. Additionally, a parking pass was tied to the same ticket. That also turned out to be fake, as at the gate they told me multiple people tried to enter with the same Spot Hero number and it was fake. I guess it was some sort of a verified resale sale situation and the person was trying to scam me. In that case, it isn’t really Stubhubs fault, but there should be a way for them to prevent that. Also, when I did try to transfer the tickets, it took me to Ticketmaster to do so, which is weird. It was a massive waste of time and stressful.

3. 1/5Bocelli at Hollywood Bowl

   Never received my tickets I paid $768 for. I tried calling customer service all day. They have a chat bot which is useless. Finally they gave me an agents email address for customer service but the guy responded by email to say just hit the claim my tickets button. It would then take me to the Ticketmaster site which said I had no tickets. I tried this 10 times but no tickets. I email the agent back several times and he just kept responding that I should hit the claim my ticket button on the website. I couldn’t get a human on the phone at StubHub, it’s all bots. I even think the email guy at customer service was a bot. I called Ticketmaster and finally got a human on the phone who said they couldn’t help me, StubHub had to send over the tickets and I should speak to them directly as Ticketmaster couldn’t do anything, it was a StubHub problem. I ended up traveling to the Hollywood Bowl which took me 2 hours and the box office said it couldn’t do anything. Even though I showed them a receipt of my tickets, they wouldn’t let me in. A whole day wasted trying to get a response out if StubHub, almost $800 lost and it’s all documented. Then the next day, I kept getting emails from StubHub asking me how enjoyed the concert and how was my experience. I would tell StubHub to stick it and never use them again. This could have been resolved in 5 minutes if they actually had a human being try to resolve this instead of saving money and using only chatbots.

4. 5/5Sellers are expendable! StubHub needs to check themselves!

   As a regular seller I had an issue where a book of season tickets I purchased went inactive because of a digital switch that I did online. I moved the season tickets into my name out of a relatives name online with sports organization they were associated with. I was unaware of the original hard copy tickets becoming inactive as a result of the switch but I was not notified of the problem until the Monday after the event had occurred. If StubHub would have called my cell phone (which they have on file) then I could have resolved the matter in minutes for the buyer and we all stay happy. Be aware that Emma in the customer service department made it clear to me that StubHub does not attempt to contact the seller when unforeseen issues arise. It is better screw the seller than to reach out to the seller so they can rectify the situation immediately. Bad policy in my opinion. At least give a seller a chance to correct an honest mistake. I could have forwarded the digital copy to the buyer in minutes for 2 of the 4 tickets I sold that were inactive. The other 2 tickets were fine. However since 2 of the tickets had issues, I had to payback the entire transaction! Ouch! Give your seller’s a chance to correct an honest error. Without sellers there is no StubHub. There is no doubt that StubHub as a company has a bright future but they need address this in my opinion. My level of trust and confidence in the online broker has been diminished as a result of their inadequate policy.

5. 4/5Wrong ticket, all good now

   I had purchased floor tickets for Arctic Monkeys in StubHub for the first time, and they said that the tickets wouldn’t be ready until the day before. But I hadn’t checked them until the day of. It was hard trying to find out if we had to download the tickets but it turned out we had gotten them in email through ticket master. My friend and I didn’t know that StubHub was associated with other companies until then. Once We confirmed the tickets we got them and went to the concert to find out that we did not get seated on the floor we got seated in the actual seats. We went to call one of the seating people, they redirected us to one of the security teams whom redirected us to the customer service at the venue and they told us to call StubHub, I spoke to one of the people and they helped me talk to someone who would know what to do. So we talked to a guy named Jordan I believe and he was very patient, understanding, attentive, and assisting. He made sure I got the tickets I purchased for and not the wrong ones that were sent to me. He stayed on the line as they venue people redirected me to another entrance for floor and made sure that the email he had sent to me for the floor tickets actually got scanned. The service team was great and I had a blast and so did my friend. It was her first concert to her favorite band and I just wanted to make this day memorable and stubhub really helped me. But I really think that people should make sure they have the right tickets ahead of time to not get scammed.

   Bought tickets to Dodger game on my computer - no problem. But when I went to open the tickets on my phone I found out the Stubhub app is not compatible with my Samsung phone. Had to transfer tickets to my friend's phone. Really stupid and a waste of time. Haven't had problems with any other ticket platforms; will be using them instead of Stubhub.
